2 Days, 1 Hell of a Time: Mo Pop Music Festival Review
By: Emerson Loria
For some background, I personally am a massive rap fan but I still listen to a few oddball artists in all genres of music. The festival had a massive amount of artists from all genres, such as Tyler The Creator, Solange, Vance Joy, Foster The People, and many more. This event took place on Saturday and Sunday, and each day it went from 1 in the afternoon to around 11:30 at night, and they filled that entire time with artists.
My highlights on the event was Aminé, who released an album just one day before he performed, and Run The Jewels. I can’t explain how incredible Run The Jewels were live, those guys truly know how to perform. Even after the next few artists, me and my friends were still just stunned by how great Run The Jewels were. I’m not even really a fan of them, but their music just worked so well in a concert, and got the crowd involved like I’ve never seen before.
Overall this event really had something for anyone who enjoys music. It really was a fantastic time that I would gladly do again next year. Mo Pop certainly gave me plenty of memories I will never forget, and will surely treasure until the day I die.
